Now, Chapter 39 has weird pacing but I hope you guys can forgive me for this! ^_^ As for Round 6, it’s not that exciting but oh well~ Hopefully, the next one will be! VICTORIA HOPKINS (3-2) VS FRIDA FERNANDEZ (4-1)

The two female members of the Populars have met their matches in each other this early in the competition by random! Both girls have around the same number of votes each round with Frida having one more win than Victoria. However, this is because Victoria has been facing harder opponents early in the competition in comparison to Frida. There is no clear winner at this point. Both of these beauties will have to win using everything other their good looks to win this match. Who will move on with one more win in their records? The Caucasian Popular or the Latino Popular?

VANCE MILES GRAY (5-0) VS WENDY WILSHIRE (5-0 )

Although this round is pretty boring, there is one other exciting match between Vance and Wendy. Both of these characters have been defeating their opponents mercilessly. Both Vance and Wendy are in it to win it all, pushing their way to the top. In order to accomplish this, they both must win this early victory. Although Vance finished his arc recently, Wendy is not even close to finishing hers. Will this be the determining factor in winning this match? Or will their relationships with their respected friends (Rin and Jezebelle) be it? Can Vance accomplish what Bo failed to do and take down Wendy?

LEXI (0-5) VS ZANE RODERICK (1-4)

Even though this competition is about getting the most wins and landing in the top 16, there are some matches between the not-so-lucky characters to watch out for. Lexi versus Zane is one of them. Although Lexi has been getting a lot of screen time recently, she’s not doing so well. Zane lacks screen time to do well in the first place but he still doesn’t want to lose out to Lexi this round. Neither of them want to add any more losses to their records. Things can only pick up from here for both of them if they hold out long enough. Who will hold out long enough to gain this much needed momentum? The proud Brit or the talkative Asian?

Gorgeous Geek Character Tournament Round 5; Gorgeous Geek Chapter 38: Abortion and Adoption~

To Gorgeous Geek Readers,

I don’t want to waste too much time since I am on a hectic schedule to get everything finished and organized before Anime Expo. I have to figure out who I leave the blog to when the time comes and what to do to people who don’t obey me. You know. All that good stuff. I wish I can live on 2 hours of sleep so then I have time to get everything done! Anyways, here are Gorgeous Geek Chapter 38 and Character Tournament Round 5. With Chapter 39 and 40, I should be able to get more character arcs done with a bit of plot here and there. The major plot should be moving around Chapter 41 unless I have to take more time on more character arcs. That’s all I’m revealing for now.

CORY MCCARTER (4-0) VS TASHA CHANTHACHEM (4-0)

After four rounds, only thirteen characters remain undefeated out of sixty-four, including the chorus singer and the poodle lover. Tasha and Cory have little in common except for being undefeated and overall happy people. Neither of these two are very competitive toward each other or anyone else in the competition in the matter, but alas, they have to fight it out in this fifth round. So far, Cory and Tasha have close to an equal amount of votes so this match is not as conclusive as it may look. Judging from Round 4, the ratio of male to female characters left undefeated has tilted to the boys’ side. Will Tasha be able to change this by knocking Cory out of the list? Or will Cory win yet another round for the boys?

BO SUNGWOO (3-1) VS WENDY WILSHIRE (4-0)

Although Bo has one loss thanks to Jordan, he is still a force to be reckon with in this competition. On Bo’s end, he has the advantage of being a major character and having plenty of screen time early in the story. On Wendy’s end, she has the advantage of never losing a round and having plenty of screen time currently in the story. This battle is crucial to Wendy for many reasons; one of which has to do with her facing Jordan later in the tournament. How can she manage to beat him if she cannot win someone who lost to him? Also, a win for Wendy will maintain the female to male ratio in this competition. Will she do it or will Bo help the boys to the side?

JULIET HEART (3-1) VS CASH GRAHAMS (3-1)

Both of these candidates have lost once to hard opponents. Out of all the candidates, Cash has gained the most momentum, managing to beat out both Jennifer and Eunice who were early favorites in the competition. Juliet hasn’t been doing badly herself with only a single loss to Kristian Shiratori. This is hard match because there’s no clear victory in sight for either of these two candidates. Plus, it’s crucial for either of them to win to help them land a spot in the top sixteen by the end of the tournament. Who will receive this momentum now? The Heart or the Cash?

VICTORIA HOPKINS (3-1) VS ROSELLE YOUNG (3-1)

Although these two have one loss each, they are still very high up in the list and have huge chances of landing in the top sixteen by the end of the sixty-three rounds. This match might be trouble for Victoria though since she lost her first round to none other than Wendy Wilshire, Jordan’s ex-grlfriend. This time, she has to face Jordan’s current girlfriend which can spell trouble for her if she cannot win against Jordan’s previous one. While Victoria is timid and secretive, Roselle is bold and blunt. Will this contrast in personality be the huge factor in winning? Or will their relationship with Jordan mean more than meets the eye?

SHUIJIN SONG (2-2) VS CRYSTAL SHIRATORI (3-1)

Shuijin and Crystal have one major thing in common- they are both relative characters who are not as important to the school as they are to their respective cousin’s lives. While Shuijin lives in Jin’s closet and loves him to death, Crystal tries to kill Kristian at every opportunity possible. Shuijin has her moe card in play. Crystal has her cool card in play. Both of them want to win and gain momentum for the finals. Since Crystal is high on the list right now, she needs to beat Shuijin to further her chances. Can Crystal make this possible or is Shuijin a harder opponent than she imagine her to be?
