Gorgeous Geek Character Tournament Round 9; Gorgeous Geek Chapter 41: Change of Wardrobe~

One, twins are awesome, especially Rin and Len. Two, it's in celebration of KrisRin's victory. Three, I found this picture and it matches with my chapter~

This is quite an interesting round so I’m leaving Round 9 by itself. Next time, I might double up just to match the amount of chapters left for this story. Again, I’m aiming for 80 chapters but it might change at any time. Anyways, Chapter 41 is pretty much a developing chapter but I manage to finish one arc in it at least. I remember how Steve said something about splitting this story in two- Jin’s story and Rin’s story. Even if that is somewhat true, the two stories intertwined so much so that I don’t think you can all them two separate parts. Blah, I can’t wait to write the climax. For now, I’ll settle with going at my usual pace. Hope you guys like the chapter and please vote!

After an outstanding victory last week for Kristian, he has been gaining momentum to go through this entire competition with solid wins with or without Rin’s help. Even though Kristian wasn’t originally supposed to be a major character, he is here to show that he deserves that spot. However, his opponent this round is none other than a fellow rival Vance who wants to prove the same. Unfortunately for Kristian, his relationship with Rin won’t help him this time when she supports Vance just as much. Will Vance lack of screen time lately hurt him or will the underdog win against the Japanese beast?

After Cash’s lost in Round 1, who would have thought he would pick up so much momentum from there? Cash has been known now for taking down cute, Asian girls like Jennifer, but it seems he’s not doing very well against male opponents. However, this is no cute Asian girl he’s facing this week. Actually, he’s not up against a boy either. He’s facing the Queen of Bitches aka Jezebelle. Sure, she’s half-Asian. Sure, she’s a girl. But does this mean she will fall victim to Cash’s  infamous knock outs? This win is very important to Cash if he wants to make it to the top 16. Can he take out probably one of the hardest characters in the whole tournament?

BO SUNGWOO (6-2) VS ROSELLE YOUNG (7-1)

Things are not looking good for Bo in the competition. Out of the top sixteen spots, he is sitting at number 16 right now. If he loses this match, there’s a huge chance that he’ll drop out of the top sixteen and has to work his way up again. The good news is that Bo has been facing hard opponents early in the competition, which makes the ride easier later on. Still, this does not mean he can let this round walk by. The same scenario applies to Roselle. Since she has been facing harder opponents lately, things should get easier for her. However, she can’t afford to lose to Bo either if she wants to stay a threat to the Big Four. How will this intense match turn out?

JORDAN GREENE (8-0) VS EUNICE HONG (5-3)

Revenge is ever so sweet. Even though Jennifer has been a threat to many characters this competition, she cannot win against the Caucasian pretty boy Jordan Greene. Now, it’s time for her closest friend to walk up to the stage and knock Jordan out of his winning streak. Even though the odds are stacked up against Eunice, she won’t let Jordan go on undefeated without a fight. She knows that her group The Asian Gossip Girls hasn’t been doing well against the Populars and she will change that with this match. Will she be able to take out their leader and then face the others? Or will Jordan prove why he’s part of the Big Four?

JIN SONG (8-0) VS SHUIJIN SONG (4-4)

All the odds are against Shuijin for this match. Percentage wise. Votes. Winnings. Literally everything. However, she is Jin’s lovable cousin after all and she wants to prove to her pretty cousin that she deserves to be up there with him. If he is ever to respect her place in this competition, she needs to win as much as he and what better than to give him his first loss in the competition? Will Shuijin defy all odds and defeat Jin? Will Shuijin prove that even a minor character can overtake the main character? Let’s see if Shuijin can pull off a miracle.

The two members of the Geek Squad aka Jin’s fan club are against the two members of the Elites aka the Teachers’ Pets. With the exception of Mary Lou, both groups have been pretty much sitting on the sidelines until their time to shine. The Geek Squad hasn’t received their proper introduction and the Elites hasn’t gotten much screen time at all. Actually, the Elites hasn’t even been introduced officially, unlike the Geek Squad. Still, these matches are pretty important in terms of both pride and winnings. The perfectionist Penny Cinnamon versus the hyper Peppy. The adorable Naomi Guani verus the loyal pup George Clemmens. Which group will get the better deal out of this match-up?
