“Gorgeous Geek” and “Classy and Cool” News. Gorgeous Geek Chapter 69: Will and Willpower~

Hiya everyone! I am back this week with another chapter of Gorgeous Geek! Chapter 69 (Thank you so much Paul for your editting~) is out much later than I intended because somehow, I managed to get myself a life and had gone out for parties/outings/other stuff from Thursday to Sunday. Oh Halloween weekend! Anyways,  at the moment, it is still uncertain whether Gorgeous Geek will have a sequel or not, depending on where I want to end the story. I am hoping to finish the entire story by the next twenty/thirty chapters. It doesn’t look possible does it? Like I said before, after Sunday, the time within the story should move by quickly. In other words, it won’t be going day by day anymore. I can’t believe I took nearly 70 chapters to get through the first important five weeks. Oh well~ Whether or not there’ll be a sequel to Gorgeous Geek, the next story in the workings is Classy and Cool.

Classy and Cool will be taking place in a separate universe from both Gorgeous Geek and Spirits. Unlike Spirits and like Gorgeous Geek, it will be modern time setting aka with computers/television/cars. Classy and Cool will be the first time I’m working with a smaller cast too. There is around five major characters and that’s about it. I’m working with my C & C characters right now. I don’t want them to be too similar to any other characters I have so far (around 300 chars I believe?), but it’s hard. They’re all archetypes at the moment. I’ll expand them later. Besides Classy and Cool, I have another story idea in the working but neither of them have progressed much from just an idea.

Mandatory Minnie Rant: I don’t follow Naruto and I don’t intend to follow Naruto any time soon, but the latest confession chapter from Sakura to Naruto PISSED ME OFF. Yes, it totally deserved caps and everything. Wait a second. I should clarify what I mean. SAKURA PISSED ME OFF. If you’re going to confess, confess like a normal person. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT SOUND SO PITIFUL????????????????????????? My God. Can this girl do anything right? Ever? If I’m going to confess to someone, I’m not going to say like “I never loved and noticed you before. Instead, I loved this emo jerk, but it doesn’t matter anymore because I love you now. You’re a great hero and will become Hokage one day, unlike that guy I loved so much, who is now trying to kill everyone. All in all, just forget that promise we made three years ago in which you wasted all that time on and get hitched okay? OKAY!” Sakura, it is thanks to female characters like you that make me want to hit my head against the nearest wall and curse all female characters in manga/anime to death. >_> Thanks to this chapter, you have made me a Hinata/Naruto fan. I don’t care if it’s one-sided. I don’t care if Hinata is one of the most useless characters in existence. ANY OTHER GIRL WITH NARUTO IS BETTER THAN YOU >________________________> Oh, and just to make this not totally a hate rant, I applaud Naruto for what he said at the end of the chapter. Naruto, you have officially gained my respect.

On lighter news, for all those who haven’t watched Kimi ni Todoke that is currently airing, you should. Why? Because it is by far the best show of the fall season for being simple, endearing, and emotional and best of all, one of my favorite manga heroines is finally animated <3 If I hadn’t done the fav char countdown already for HSA, she would be right about here:

Gorgeous Geek Character Tournament Round 42+Exhibition~ Gorgeous Geek Chapter 68: Friends With Benefits~

To GG Readers,

Because I am becoming fond of Tiffy, here is a pic of her... anime-style~

I know I have been neglecting the chart for the GG Char Tourney for a while now but I can assure you that it’s done on my computer and that I haven’t had time to post it up yet. I realize that being sick is not fun when you are behind in everything- writing, schoolwork, and projects. After recovering from my evil flu, I am thankful for good health once more. As my friend aka character Theresa Chelsea Alonso like to say, “The secret to a happy life is good health and a bad memory”.  Hurray for me having both~ Maybe that’s why I’m so cheerful constantly?

I know it’s been a while but Chapter 68 is finally here and thanks to my demon editor who I will not name unless he gives me permission to, my horrible grammar won’t be as obvious as previous chapters. Thank you, my demon editor for all your hard work! Let’s hope that you won’t run away as quickly as the others~ ^^ Moving on, I haven’t been able to create double matches for the GG Char Tourney for a while so to make up for it this time, there’ll be an exhibition match for fun. I’ll post the results along with the next chapter. Please vote in Round 42 and stay tune for that!

CERINA CELESTINE VS SANDARA MARINA

If there is one comment I hear a lot in regards to the GG Char Tourney, it is that both Cerina and Sandara should be in it. Unfortunately, both Cerina and Sandara are introduced a little too late in the story so they didn’t make the cut even though their arcs are finished before other characters in the tournament. Besides being close friends, Cerina and Sandara are considered very strong female figures in GG. Cerina is super competitive and will do anything to win the man she wants over. Sandara is a prideful Hispanic woman who will do anything to prove to the school that she is more than what she seems. Both girls are talkative and flirtatious in their own ways. They have enough screen time with one of the major characters (Jezebelle and Jordan respectively) and they are promising candidates for GG Tourney if they made it. Between these two young ladies, who will be blessed with an exhibition match win?

NATHAN FORSHAW VS LIONARD LEVINE

There are a lot of things Nathan and Lionard have in common. First, they are both part of Marching Band and very musically-orientated. They are both Jewish and passionate. They both like to talk a lot. The difference between them is probably that Nathan is all about being a man and Lionard the complete opposite. While Nathan preaches on what it takes to be a real man, Lionard is off knitting and shopping for clothes. Both of these young men were introduced late and didn’t make the tourney either, though both of them might have done decently well against the others in it so far. This is a test of masculinity of both of them. Will the funny and enduring Nathan prove that a masculine representative is favored in this exhibition match? Or will the intelligent and sweet Lionard prove that only real men wear pink and white?

If there is one person who should hold the crown of unpredictability, it is none other than Crystal Shiratori. Whether it is because she has the same name as the most beloved character in Sweet Heart or because her character is that memorable, Crystal has been slamming down very hard opponents lately. Too many in fact that Eunice might be in danger. Eunice is doing extremely well, moving one spot up each time, until she is in sight of the top sixteen. If she gathers a couple of more wins, she might make the top sixteen for sure. Unfortunately, it is time for Eunice to be up against someone who can’t be predicted to win or lose. It is fate that Eunice and Crystal are fighting on this day. What will come of this match? Will Eunice lose her slow but steady momentum? Or will Eunice show Crystal that consistency is the key to victory?

Gorgeous Geek Chapter 67: Substitute Boyfriend~

Okay. This chapter is long. I’m warning you. It’s long. That’s why it took me the whole weekend to finish it and even then I’m not satisfied with it. Chapter 67 is heavy on the emotion and overall, it makes me sad when rereading the Sound Episode 1 of the GG Drama. You’ll know why once Chapter 67 is done and over with. Since this week is mid-term week for me, I will not be able to get the next chapter done on time. I’m sorry but I guarantee the  next couple of chapters won’t be delayed. And if I have to, I’ll try to type up three chapters for next next week. ^^ Thank you for your patience all my supporters~
